That theme is the work of Julian Ridden. Not sure as I haven't looked for a while but if I remember correctly he used the Nuvola icons.
The rest are icons I have built/mashed together from other various sources.
Hi julian, love the site... how did you get them on the front page... i remember seeing something about labels? is there any instructions on how to get them together? really well done on it though (also riverview is really really good too!)
I'd also like to know how to add additional content to the center of the page. All I can currently get are the usuals, site news, catagories etc.
How is it done?
if you are using 1.8.2 it is relitivity easy.
on front page settings option (admin on theleft hand side) tick the topic box this give you the block to place images or html, depending how good your coding is click the <> button on the top bar and you can code anything, i am having issues at the mo with a form, but i think it's to do with allowing embedded objects.... i will let you know how i get on!
thanks to blackpool moodle team for confirming this!!
I was offline most of last week so wasn't online to answer this post.
You are 100% right on the method I applied. By adding a label and using the HTML view (seen by clicking on <> in the html editor) and then you can add nearly any html you like.
So while it looks very fancy, it really is anything but.
Thanks for the reply, thats ok for not answering, it gave me time to play an get a fair way forward..... once i found that it was quite fast moving.
one question though, i see you used java to get the web links working (is that correct?) should this be enabled automatically? it's just i tried using a form to do a drop down menu, and moodle just laughed at me!!
i guess it's just using the moodle to it's potential, but you did with cracking results! it blew the minds of our moodle committee!!
instead i put the javasrcipt into the header.html of m theme.
P.S. Check out the new staff intranet I'm building. Way better than MonteNet (well at least I think)
Hey Julian great site. its just the sort of front page interface i would like to make. any suggestions on how you go about starting
