Thanks for this info but why do you think it might be difficult to get Moodle to talk to 4D?

- There doesn't seem to be any support for 4D in PHP

- I don't think 4D talks SQL. Even if it does, in my experience it's laborious to port from one SQL flavor to another. Luckily PostgreSQL is quite close to the standard, so you get a good starting point.
