Hi Jon,

perhaps the calendar first day of week (CALENDAR_STARTING_WEEKDAY) could get its value from the "firstdayofweek" string in moodle.php and default to 0/1 if not found. This could help a lot of people having their calendar displayed correctly initially.

Only a suggestion...ciao smile
