Groups Problem

Groups Problem

We have just upgraded to 1.2.1 from 1.1 big grin to take advantage of the new group features but have run into some issues....

  • Currently you cannot allocate a teacher to more than one group. Where we have separate cohorts this presents a problem.
  • An 'Editing' teacher can switch between groups but only through the gradebook, not in submitted assignments for instance.
  • A 'Non-editing' teacher cannot switch groups at all. We have teachers who have 3-4 classes but no editing rights.
  • If you do not "Force" groups at a course level the non editing teachers are presented with a Submitted Assignment screen containing ALL students. In our case >200 sad
  • A similar situation occurs for the editing teacher when they view a gradebook for their course.

Sorry for the negatives......

The second point should not be happening ... editing teachers should be able to switch groups anywhere (and this works for me).

I'm aware of the other stuff, it's all planned for the future.
