Hi, folks,

I have posted a new release, v.0.22.1, of CK-ERP, at SourceForge.Net, http://sourceforge.net/projects/ck-erp .

This release features connectors for Moodle, Atutor, vTiger, XRMS, WordPress, b2evolution and e107. Nine modules have Spanish screen translations added. Special thank is due to Guillermo Patterer from Fiberair for providing the Spanish translation.

CK-ERP is an open source accounting/MRP/ERP/CRM system that runs on top of multiple middlewares. It comprises 22 modules - Administration, i18n, Contact Management, Customer Relationship, Customer Self Service, Vendor Relationship, Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, MRP, Warehouse, Inventory, Service, AP, AR, PO, SO, Quotation, POS for Cashier, POS for Manager, HR, Staff Self Service and Payroll. Operating platform can either be LAMP or LAPP. It provides accounting and back office functionalities to SMEs and utilizes the underlying middleware to administer accounts/groups. I'm interested on installing CK-ERP as a moodle addon but how do set it, if i have moodle already running?

(Do you need help translating it to spanish, i can help you if it has english interface)

I am afraid there is an oversight in writing up Step 6A within CK-ERP's Installation Manual, in relation to installing CK-ERP within Moodle. Below is the corrected Step 6A,

Step 6A (for Moodle users only)
- Login as Moodle Administrator
- Turn editing on
- Blocks -> Add (HTML) -> Block Title: CK-ERP; Content (please make sure the editor is toggled to allow raw html source input): <a href="http://(domainname or localhost)/(moodle root)/admin/ck-ledger/index.php"> CK-ERP </a> -> Save changes

- Site Administration -> Users -> Permissions -> Define roles -> Add a new role -> Name: ck-erp-user -> Add a new role
- Site Administration -> Users -> Permissions -> Assign roles -> ck-erp-user -> Make sure [Current context: Site] -> move admin user (along with other appropriate users) from [potential users] to [existing users]

- AT THIS POINT, DO NOT CLICK ON THE [CK-ERP] BLOCK LINK. Instead use your browser to visit directly http://(domainname or localhost)/(moodle root)/admin/ck-admin/index.php
- Complete the Test Environment installation as described in Step 10 to step 16


The added steps are to make use of the newly added 'role' feature to ensure only administrative staff (ie excluding teachers and students) is able to access the embedded CK-ERP application.
