Problems to prohibit a role access to a resource in a course

I´m trying to prohibit the students access to a resource in a course overriding the role, and choosing the Prohibit Risks option, but it doesn´t work. When I try to see it using the student role I can, and if I login as a student I can too...

Please, someone can tell me what I´m doing wrong? Erdipurdika

Hi,

If you don't want your students to see the resource you can just "hide" it, by clicking on the eye icon when you are updating the course. Default student role does not come with "viewhiddenactivity" capability so your students would not be able to see the resource.

Hi Yu,

Thank you for your help but one of my teachers wants to make different roles with his students, and he´d like to hide some resources for some of them and let to see it to others... I think it´s too complicated, but it´s what he wants...,

I don´t understand why I can´t prohibit the access to a resource for a role prohibiting it at "Override roles"...

What are the specific permissions that disallow a role to edit a course?
