I think that the Lessonmodule tests only the progress of the student in the lesson.
Lesson does not test how much help a student needs to solve a problem.
Ideally the program asks the student"Need help?Click here!". The more help is needed, the lower the grade.
The following physics problem gives an example of graded help feedback.
A powerplant has a electrical power of 800MW
It runs of cole, which has a energetical value of 29 MJ/kg
The efficiency is 80%
Question: How much kg cole does the plant use per second?
Solving steps:
1)Eelec=P*t=800MJ
2)Ecole=800/80*100=1000MJ
3)Mcole=1000/29=34kg
When a student answers 3 right away - he/she gets %100
If he/she clicked for extra information 1 - 70%
For 1 and 2- 30%
Is something like this already available in moodle?
