I'm sorry but I'm very confused about Roles.
I see that I can assign roles in a lot of places of Moodle:
- In Site Administrator -> Accounts ->Users
- In Site Administrator -> Permissions -> Assign roles
- In Site Administrator -> Courses -> The course -> Assign roles
- Inside the course
And I don't know if there is another way to assign roles.
I have created a Course and all the users of moodle are enroled, inside the course I assigned them a role, but the users than not have any role in the course still are there. Then I selected a Participant and unenroled them from the Course, but the Participant is in the course again.
I know that this ocurred by the hierarchy, but this is confused for me.
I want to know which kind of assignment of role have more precedence. Where can I assign a role and be sure that this assignment will work. Where can I delete a Participant from a course.
