I am using the quiz module to try and create an algebra quiz. However, I'm having problems using the text editor. I can use it in the question section but can't use it in the correct answer section. For example, I want to use exponents. I was able to create a question using the subscript/superscript in the text editor but when I went to the correct answer box, the subscript/superscript characters wouldn't work. I had the same problem with Hot Potato quizzes. Any suggestions from other algebra teachers??
Please don't cross post. Your question was already answered in another forum.
There are several things you could do, including:
If you have the algebra and/or Tex filters activated, you can type $$$x^2+3x-5$$$ and when the quiz is viewed it will appear as: $$x^2+3x-5$$
You can type HTML directly into the answer area: x2+3x-5
You can compose your answer in the question area using the text editor, toggle to HTML Source (using the <> button) and then cut the HTML from the question area and paste into the answer area.
