Lining a lesson to a Hot Pot Activity

Lining a lesson to a Hot Pot Activity

Dear all,

I've been up against a brick wall for a wee while at the moment.

Yesterday I used the "Lessons" activity and made a slideshow using Powerpoint, which I uploaded. It is sitting there nicely (all working fine) as a branch table waiting for the 'piece de resistance' my hot pot cloze reading. However, I just cant seem to work out how to get the "Next" button in my lesson to link straight to the Hot Pot activity. Is it possible?

I teach English to both teenagers and retired folk and I'm not convinced that my "Older generation" students will figure out how to navigate from the course activity page to first the presentation, then the Hot Potatoes then the forum in the order I'd planned.

Any help is very much appreciated!

Seth.

Hey there guys,

Gordon (from over there in the Hot Pot section) has very kindly helped me out on this problem, so thanks anyway. http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=64155

It seems for the time being, there is no direct way of lining from one part of a lesson, straight into a Hotpot quiz. Who knows maybe in the future??
