Hello,
We have ten Flash Activities on one of our courses. Recently the course is loading very slowly. It doesn't load progressively it delays for about 20secs and then loads all at once.
After speaking to our server providers they reported that there was a mysql database running on this page containing a table called mdl_flash_answers which has 80,119 records "at least 8-10 times".
On the course page we have a certificate which uses Activity Locking. How this works is that the certificate does not become available until all the Flash Activities have been completed with a score of 100%.
Therefore I assume that each time the page loads it has to look through the databse to find the progress of each user.
We have about 1000 participants on this course which isn't really that many.
Is there anything we can do to allow the page to load and then to check the database or is there a way to reduce the amount of records being saved in the database?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks
Nicola.
