moodle is the software project with a lot of translated languages. We are publishing 69 languages for moodle. Thats great. Really.
Moodle has a brilliant community for translation.
But lets take a look behind the curtain. I assume that little more than a dozend languages are completly translated. There are a lot of fragments in the translations.
I would like to start a project about more and complete translations for moodle. But that is a project we can only do with help of a lot of people.
The first steps we can do:
- Evaluation of the actual translations
Completeness of existing translations (PHP-files and help files)
- Contacting the official translators and activating the inactive translators. Update of the list of translators.
- Systematical search for additional translators.
