yes, it help most of the time if I hit the update buttom. The strange thing is that I have another - labtop hooked on the same server - and here I find no problems.
Yes - i think that you are right. It has something to do with the browser.
I am running IE 6.0. and I always keep it updated. I am running the server i Fedora.
Try switching it off temporarily and see if that helps.
I am using Zonealarm. I tried to shut it down, but it did not seem to help. I can live with it.
I am running IE and xp on the PC where the failure occours. On my labtop that runs linux and Konqueror I have no problems.
One more thing. I don't know if it means anything, but on my labtom I see the tiny moodlesymbol in the adress line. It is not there on my pc running IE.
I am wery satisfied with Moodle and I am starting using i right now.
Thank you - to all of you that are doing such a great job developing Moodle. I would like to help with the danish translation when I have starting using the program a little more.
Its fantastic that one can get such a program for free. We don't have much money in the teaching field.
We are experiencing the same problem and in the last day, or two I have pretty much been able to verify that it has to do with our internet filtering program-Cybersitter. When it is disabled, the textarea and toolbar shows up fine. ( http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=6033 )
