In a lot of places it seems that the assignment submission table column "data2" is expected to hold a value for the "text format" (FORMAT_HTML / FORMAT_MOODLE etc.), in online text type at least. However, I didn't find any places where $assignment->format would be written there? Now calls like format_text($submission->data1, $submission->data2) generate things in FORMAT_MOODLE, which breaks hyperlinks that have, for example, a line-break tag after them.
Is the assignment column "data2" supposed to have some data in it?
