One idea was to upload the file as a resource and link it to the calender, so students are aware of start and stop dates. Is there a way this can be done?
Also, as a re-iterration of Ghassan, is there a way (module/plugin/...) to make Moodle show a resource or activity on a certain date/time to the students?
