"Of course we want to delete the dissections (which we know how to do) but not the first seed (1ST entry) of each forum which entered by the instructor (teacher) how can we do it."
Would be useful, to apply James' techniques to your new course with only forum with 1st entry selected, or whole new course with seed entry...
