I'm wondering if anyone is using MSSQL for Moodle, and if so, how well it's working. We're running Moodle 1.7 on an IIS server that uses ODBTP (the recommended method) to connect to a MSSQL 2000 server. The SQL server is very lightly loaded as is the IIS server that Moodle is running on. However, Moodle is almost intolerably slow. I posted about this earlier but it didn't seem that anyone had any ideas at the time. I thought I'd try again and would especially like to hear from anyone that's running this currently and hear that had to do/not do to get it to play nice with MSSQL?
