I would like to do this in 1.9.5. For privacy reasons, we do not want grades even recorded behind the scenes. But it seems some activities, like Quizzes, must push a grade. Others have it as an option. Do we just hide it (using Moodle configuration and frontend hacking) and hack the code persisting grades to the DB to not do that?
