Hi to everybody.
I have a little problem about students.
Documentation about Assign Roles, talk about a Role Student. This role can be assigned to people/users that are registered. Page Students talk about a "Student Section" that I dont ever seen in Moodle 1.7 (the only version I have used).
The only role I have are: Admin, coursecreator, teacher and guest.
Please, Someone have idea why I don't see this features and the role Student ? (I'm the Setup Administrator).

It sounds like something is wrong with your installation! I just installed a fresh Moodle 1.7 Stable and the roles that I have are: admin, coursecreator, editingteacher, teacher, student, and guest.
I suggest reinstalling Moodle 1.7!
