Another example is the quizz: You can ask students to read chapter 4 and then create a m.c. question of the type abcd. You ask them to deliver that question as Word document, but they also have to write why answer a is 100% good, why b and c are 50% ok and why d is wrong. You can make this more complex: you ask them to deliver the questions in a forum, but if another student came up with the same kind of question earlier, they have to find another one.. or they are invited to discuss the explanations of the other students or...

A variation on this approach is giving students a quizz, ending with one open quesstion where they can propose a new question in that domain (for a bonus point)


In both situations you end up with word-files and you have to retype or cut/paste the text into a moodle-quizz. What about a quizz module where students can bring in the questions and you can doing the clearinghouse (=grading) like the glossary?
