Hi all
I'm currently a Teaching Assistant for a Computer Science course at UCT, South Africa. The course has 16 tutors who are each assigned to mark a subset of the 232 handins received from students. These handins consist of electronic code which is downloadable by the markers.
I would like to be able to automate the allocation of tutorials to be marked to tutors, as well as collation of all marks. If this has been done (in this or another module), could someone please inform me.
If not, I would be interested in adding such functionality to moodle. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Would it be helpful to split the students into manageable groups and assign each tutor a group to mark? If so, 1.2 is the version to use...

That's a good start. Ideally, we'd like to randomly allocate students to tutors, so as to ensure everyone is marked the same, and to prevent favouritism.
