We have recently upgraded to 1.7 and I thought I understood the roles. However Ha Ha Ha !!!
At category level, I have assigned
myself as administrator
8 people as both course creators and teachers, and
a further 17 people as students at one category of the VLE (Edexcel Applied ICT).
when trying to log into courses within this category, course creators are being asked if they want to enrol, when they say yes, the question is asked again and again and again. Thus they never get into the course.
I am additionally confused by the fact that although I have allocated the roles at the highest level, the screens that show who is a course creator etc do not tally with this high level information.
I have tried going into reset to take out this information, and I've tried changing it and it just doesn't seem to say what it should,.
I have gone into an individual couse and removed all of the roles and still I can see 2 people in as course creators on the front screen.
So I am now more than a little confused.
