Forum Max upload size is too small

Hello,

I have altered my php.ini file to allow for 100M uploads - made all necessary changes for this to work.

When someone tries to upload a file to the forums it will not upload a file bigger than 2M.

I have updated the forum and the max upload size will only let me select upto is 2M when the rest of my site lets you select upload 100M

Does any know how i can change this to the same as the site wide max upload amount (100M)??

Many Thanks for any help.

What version of Moodle are you running? What exactly did you do to php.ini to increase the upload ceiling?

There is also a maximum upload size for the course. See if you can up that a bit, then try the forum setting again.

Thanks a lot for the replys guys!

I had made all the correct necessary changes to the global php.ini file/settings.

Turns out i just needed to restart my APACHE service or httpservice.

No problem with uploads any more.

But i do have a problem with the max upload size on forums posts only?!?

I have changed the settings to maximum on the forums but it will not allow me to set it to 100M as the rest of my site is set.
This still happens when i create an entirely new forum also.....

I'm a little stuck, but i could do to know if there's something i can do, I'd rather limit the forums to something like 5M anyway.

Thanks Guys
