Hi
I want to give teachers the right to override roles on course level (e.g. for allowing or denying forum posts).
When looking at roles (e.g. when editing settings for forum) I only see "assign roles" but I miss "override roles" which I see as admin.
I gave trainer the right "override_roles" in the admin settings - but no success
Does anybody know how to handle this problem?
Kind regards
Klaus
Hi Klaus,
To enable non-admin roles to do overrides you need to log in as the admin, click on user->permission->allow override, and check the box under whatever role you want your teacher to override correspondingly. For example, you can check the student box to allow them to override student capabilities only. You might also want to make sure that your teachers have the moodle/role:override in the context.
Cheers,
Yu
