Just tried changing the redirect statement for the offcampuslogin if in the alternative index.php.
When the if fails, the https offcampus login shows up correctly but when type the username and password in, it just re-displays the login page. As soon as I took out the https, everything worked correctly.
And again, I posted to the wrong forum - i didn't have a good day on Friday
