Hi there,
I have problems to insert mathmatical terms into a wikipage.
All backslashes disappear, when I edit the page again.
For example I insert 3 \cdot~4 = 12 in the double dollarsigns
\$\$ 3 \cdot~4 = 12 \$\$
$$ 3 \cdot~4 = 12 $$
Then I save the page, until now everthing is ok.
If I want to edit the page again, all backslashes are gone
$$3cdot~4 = 12$$
How can I stop this automatical reformat?
I use dfwiki and moodle 1.5.4
Thank you in advance
jens

Hello Marc,
thank you for your fast reply.
Sadly, i can't upgrade.
Is there any workaround to solve the Problem in moodle 1.5.4?
thanks for your tip

Hello Ludo,
I was so happy when I read your message.
I tried it immediately.
But sadly it doesn't work
Please give me a hint, where the backslashes are killed.
The procdure "Save" and "Preview" works well.
Only the "Edit" mod kill the backslashes.
Tanks in Advance
I wish all a merry christmas and a happy new year!

Ops.. backslashed again... some security routines we MUST call eat the backslashes...
We will take a look at it.
