I have tried to use the feature to post mesages in the forum, subscribing this, but no email is received.
The system configuration do not have SMTP set up (blank fields), but I notice that when i create a new account, the confirmation email is sent to the mailbox indicated in the form. Unfortunatly the automatic email send feature does not work when the user post a mesage in a subscribed forum. Nobody receive anything from the forum.
What can I do to fix this problem?

I use CPanel to control my site, and there is a Cron Jobs feature. The question is:
The command line: wget -q -O /dev/null http://domain.com/moodle/admin.cron.php is proper to be used in linux server?
wget -q -O /dev/null http://example.com/moodle/admin/cron.php
The difference is the slash after "admin"

I use CPANEL as domain control interface, and there is Cron Jobs there to set up this kind of activity. After several emails sent to host support, I found out that it works with the line below:
*/5 * * * * php /home/mydomain/public_html/moodle/admin/cron.php
I hope that this post can help others that host their domains in hosting servers with Cpanel.
