Attempting to use RSS for my forums (Moodle 1.6.3)
Only the initial post in each discussion topic is delivered (i.e., no replies to initial posts are delivered) - this is regardless of whether "discussions" or "posts" is selected in the "RSS feed for this activity" field in the forum settings.
How might this be remedied?

I notice e.g. that this forum works fine with RSS subscription - I get both new posts, and replies to existing posts, delivered just fine.
But with the forums on my MOODLE site (vers.1.63), I receive only the New posts by RSS - none of the replies (Re:...).
I have tried setting the "RSS feed for this activity" field at both "discussions" and at "posts", and see the same behavior regardless of this setting.
Are there any other settings where this might be toggled or determined?

I am wondering if you are giving the forum changes time to take effect. Try setting to posts then wait 24 hours.
