I have installed Moodle on my Redhat home server and everything seems to be working pretty well. First I tried to install it on the root of a virtual directory. Because of some problems that I think is related not to Moodle, but to my server configuration, this did not work (file upload did not work).
I then tried to install it as a subdirectory of the Apache web server root directory, like this:
This apeared to be working perfectly well and without a problem.
Then I tried to set up I a frame on this address: http://virtualdomene.org and then to run the longer adress inside this frame. I can see that there is a configuration option where you can select "_top" or the name of a frame. (In my case I think the name is "body")
I tried to fill inn the name of the frame in the Moodle configuration file, but still it seems like the log on functions does not work like it should. If I give a inncorrect password I get an error. If I get the right password I just get a new logon request with no error message. I don't get an error and I don't get logged in.
If I try to login without using the frame and rather the longer adress the log on works perfecltly well.
The HTML code I use for the frame I try to run Moodle trough looks like this:
<frame src="http://exsampledomene.org/moodle" name="body">
And the name I should fill into the moodle configuration file should be "body" and not "_blank" ??
Anybody that can see any incorrectness or who have any ideas ??
