Hello,

I'm looking for a module or block for Moodle that allows an individual to maintain their own collection of files, as well as lets the teacher add a file as well (like a document with comments).

Does such a thing exist?

Hi!

I^m not sure I got 100% what you need, but have a look at DOOR - it is a LO repository, but you can also see it as a personal file repository, which also keeps resource titles and descriptions.

Have you tried the MyFiles thing.
We use that with our version 1.6 Moodle.
I'm not sure how well it works with 1.7 and 1.8 though.
Would be delighted if anyone could look at that

While it works very well in 1.6, it's file-sharing functionality is broken by database changes in 1.7.
