I am afraid I do not find myself to be in favour of the tree in 1.7. Thoughts?

I agree - I would expect the "back-up / restore" facilities to also be available under the "courses" branch of the tree or even in the add/edit area.
I'm sure I also read about creating new courses based on a template, but can't find how to do that either - any one able to enlighten me?

Thanks for the info Timothy - I've been digging around for a while looking for the restore function and there is not a hint that it would be in the Files area especially as all that is written there is "Note: files placed here can be accessed by anyone"
