Chameleon and message backgrounds

Chameleon and message backgrounds

I used Chameleon to redesign our website to have a look and feel closer to our department's website.  Its a great way to get some quick changes done!  However, there are some problems.  The main site has white under the blocks, and then the upper and lower colors are based on the other site, with brown for the font.  The brown color only works on white. It does not work on the other colors.  However, when there is a messaging popup, or when I am sent a forum message, the background is one of the blue colors, which makes it really hard to read.  I don't know how to change the background of the messages in chameleon.  Is there a way to do this? Or is there a way to do it by hand?

Thanks for your help,

S.M.

Hi Steven,

some areas in Moodle you can't access with Chameleon directly. The "Free Edit" tab offers to write or copy and paste CSS.

Please read 8.1 How can I change the background of the "messages" with Chameleon? in Moodle Docs.

Does it help?
