Is there any possibility to start the view of an glossary with "Browse by category"

Clicking on "Browse by category" works fine, but is it possible to start with the view, you get when clicking on "Browse by category". In the Admin menu, i tried all combinations in changing the glossar settings - with no success ...

Hi Peter,

if I'm not wrong, that's possible.

Imagine that you are using the "Encyclopedia" glossary format.

If you go to Admin/Modules and press over the glossary "settings link" you'll arrive to the main conf page of the glossary.

At the end, there is one small table showing all the installed glossary formats. Press the "Edit" button of the "Encyclopedia" format and it will display one new page with defaults to be applied to all the glossaries using such format.

Just select defaultmode = cat, save changes and, voilà, your "Encyclopedia" glossaries will start with the "Browse by category" tab displayed by default.
