Our instuctors want to use half marks when they quick grade an assignment. But the dropdown menu only shows whole marks. Is it possible to make this a text box instead of a dropdown menu? And where do I do this?
TIA

We do this at our school, but it will require that you modify the database and scripts. The database currently has grades as an integer so that must be changed to a double.
We enter decimal grades or grades over 100% only in the longer feedback form and keep using the dropdown menus for quick grade as it makes coding much easier.
I have submitted this improvement to the Moodle Tracker for possible inclusion in a future version of Moodle, but it did not make it into version 1.7. See http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-6308
