What is the status of groups in the CVS at the moment. While I can set groups up, it doesn't seem to make any difference to what users in those groups can see. Is it working at the moment are am I being stupid (again)?

I just checked in groups support for Survey and the only thing remaining as far as I know is groups support in Chat and Workshop. I haven't looked at Workshop yet so I'm not sure if that will get in to Moodle 1.2 beta.
At this stage I'm trying to release Moodle 1.2 beta this weekend.
Reading the help buttons next to the groups settings in the course settings might be helpful
but please post any and all issues with the interface here ... there are lots of rough edges undoubtedly and I'll do my best to polish them up for 1.2.
