We are experiencing exactly the same problem no matter what Browser we use (Firefox, IE, Opera)

The only way around is cutting and pasting from MS Word. This carries lots of extra code that needs to be cleaned by hand using the HTML view. Most users do not know how to use HTML and this problem defeats the whole purpose of the WYSIWIG mode.

Please can somebody do something about this soon? I'm receviving many emails and phone calls per day complaining about this and I do not know what to tell them.

We are trying for people to adopt Moodle as their LMS and this is not helping at all.

Example: The following is supposed to be a Ordered List:

  1. Select several lines of text
  2. Click Ordered List in the Toolbar
  3. Results: see numbers on the HTML Editor that are not diplayed after you Save Changes.

It works in this Forum, of course, BUT it does not work in our site smile

The list in our site looks like this. You can see the HTML code: <ol><li> but it does not do anything!

Select several lines of text
Click Ordered List in the Toolbar
Results: see numbers on the HTML Editor that are not diplayed after you Save Changes.
