it seems that once a teacher give a grade and comments to submitted work be it online or upload single, the grade and feedback are displayed on the student view as well. How can we stop this until the teacher is really satisfied with the given grade then the system can publish it to the students.
Is there anyway the system could not publish the grades until the teacher confirms it? Most teachers would want to review the given grade and balance the entire overall assignment grades.
You can always hide the assignment after the due-date until you are ready to release the results. If you do this, it might be a good idea to insert a label in the appropriate section of your course saying when the results will be available.
A drawback of this is that students would not be able to submit their work late -- or at least not during this grading time.
