I am trying to set up staff collaborative courses with groups within the course. I am having great problems...
I set up a group called 'alex' with a user called alex in it. I set up a group called 'darren' with a user called darren. I set up a group called 'both' with both alex and darren in it.
I set up a discussion forum with the 'alex' groups active
I set up a discussion forum with the 'darren' group active and likewise I set up a discussion with the 'both' group selected.
The problem is that alex get 'alex', 'darren' and 'both' discussion emails, darren gets alex, darren and both etc. In fact everyone gets everyone's emails regardless of the groups.
Is this supposed to happen, if it is then I don't see the point of groups.
Any comments? - I assume I have something wrong.
