I am creating a test in which 10 factors of personality are being assessed like warmth, team playing capability, anger, etc etc
i have 10 questions for each trait making a total of 100
This test , when we conduct manually we randomise the quwestions and then calculate the score of each 10 questions for a particular trait separately
e.g. warmth- 3/10
team role- 5/10
and then we give feedback for each type of trait
e.g. warmth- 3/10---you are not a very warm person
anger- 6/10----you get angry easily
team role- 5/10----you are an average team player
The only idea i Have is that i'll have to make 10 quizzes , one for each part, and then create 11th quiz where the candidates will manually feed their own scores for each of the ten parts they have taken and feedback will be shown to them.
does anyone have a better idea how to do it in a way that it can be a single composite quiz and manual report creation can be avoided.
anyone wants me to test run it?
Hi Dr S Bathia,
When posts are not being answered on these Moodle forums it means either that people do not understand the problem or that there is no immediate/easy solution to the problem. It never means that people are being ignored. And I think it is better to get no answer than vague, wrong or unhelpful answers.
All I can say is that the Quiz is only a small part (if essential) of the whole Moodle software. As it exists, is maintained, enhanced all the time, it has its qualities and its shortcomings. When Moodle users have specific needs which are not satisfied by any of the Moodle functionalities, they can always suggest improvements (this is done all the time on these forums) or contribute the improvements themselves (this is much less frequent, for obvious reasons, but at least it is feasible because Moodle is Open Source software).
On the other hand, for specific needs such as personality tests, you will find on the market a number of software packages which will enable you to do what you want.
Hope that helps a little,
i never meant being ignored maliciously....
i was kidding as the smiley would tell u
yes there are softwares available and i do have them too on my other sites.....but moodle has SUCH advance functionality which very advanced testing sites also do not have....
so i thought ' I MUST BE MISSING SOMETHING'
i do get the overall idea though
thanx for chastisement........(kidding again)
It seems that every think is ready, and you only need to add your set of questions and scales. I don't know how, but I would like to know it too.
You need to cook it up in a third party programming environment and then export it for the SCORM module.
Let me know off board if you need any professionel help.
