Documentation of Algebra Syntax

Documentation of Algebra Syntax

Hi,

is there anything like a documentation of the algebra syntax anywhere on the web? I found the Tex-Filter-glossary, but apart from some examples no info on the algebra notation, neither here in the forum, nore somewhere else. (Maybe I'm just too ignorant to see the obvious?)

Thanx!

Paul,

From what I understand, the algebra syntax is similar to what you would type in a graphing calculator (like a Texas Instruments TI-84...).  If you are doing anything "advanced", you might look into using the Tex Notation filter instead.  Whyt type of level of math are you intending on using?

A rather mixred page with  Algebra  and TeX Filter examples: (also mixed Swedish and English) : http://moodle-utv.cfl.se/mod/glossary/view.php?id=34&mode=&hook=ALL&sortkey=&sortorder=&fullsearch=0&page=-1
It was from a page that I found that disappeared, but I had the XML and played with it.

In the Course exchange I found a Link to this TeX doc:
http://imp.usd465.com/moodle/mod/glossary/view.php?id=5213&mode=letter&hook=ALL&sortkey=CREATION&sortorder=asc&fullsearch=0&page=-1
Unfortunately that module was not included in the version in the exchange.
