I'm thinking of using the password protected enrollment feature, and then 'selling' the password in my Virtuemart store. Not perfect but I think it might work, it's just that people could share the password, but we'll just have to keep an eye on things and maybe run a check on numbers enrolled against sales as the course starts.
If I remember correct Joomla moodle integration code is yet to be updated and the existing code will be helpful to integrate Moodle version 1.5.3 with joomal version 1.0.8. I did with virtuemart integration and it works well. Please lookm at http://evarsity.net and determine whether this is the type of integration you want.
At Joomla.org the lowest recommended version is Joomla 1.0.11 owing to severe security issues. Many host won't allow anything earlier.
hi. mr Nagarajan or anyone who can help,
i just did an integration for moodle-joomla, but it seems that i did not succeed on my first attempt. Im used the integration package from http://forge.joomla.org/sf/frs/do/viewSummary/projects.joomoodle/frs
And i had installed Joomla version 1.0.12 and moodle 1.5.4, and after i browse through the forum, it struck that yes, probably u are right. the integration was for joomla 1.0.8 n moodle 1.5.4 instead.?
So i just want to confirm here that the link to the integration package i used was correct.? i couldnt figure it. Thank you!!
So the Joomla / Moodle integration is not ultimate.
I would love to see a Virtuemart / Moodle integration.. so if anyone has a solution for that, please contact me!
PS. Isn't Mambo 'dead' ?
