End backup course ... ERROR!!

Greetings...

I tried the backup module last night in 1.2. My cron job emailed me a long message, with each course ending with "ERROR!!"

23:30:09 copying user files

23:30:09 copying course files

23:30:10 zipping files

23:30:11 copying backup

23:30:11 End backup course Algebra 1X - Haynes - ERROR!!

Is this a permissions problem? The backup runs as what user?

Hi Thomas,

the user running the web server process (apache, www, nobody...) is the OS user running scheduled backups (exactly like the rest of Moodle), so you must grant write perms to this user in destination dir.
