I am in the Home Office training and development department for Sterling Jewelers. In anticipation of future growth, we are looking at moving to an LMS, and have brought up the idea of using Moodle. Our VP of MIS, while open to the idea, would like us to talk with someone who is currently administering it. His main concern is that is will "play nice" with our current IT infrastructure, and to find out how difficult/easy installation and administration would be.
We are already using some Apache servers, and we have people proficient in PHP, but he wants to be sure that there will not be day-to-day issues to address that would take away from other projects.
Would anyone be willing to talk to us, perhaps via a conference call, to address his concerns? I have found previous posts on this same topic, including <?xml:namespace prefix = st2 />Michael Penney 's excellent response to a question posted by Guy Flaherty , but our MIS VP would be much more comfortable if we could actually speak with someone, especially from a retail organization.
Thanks in advance for any help you care to give.
