Some work from my students

These are some of the Moodle projects that my students did this summer.

They had only about two weeks to finish these, so I think the results are pretty impressive. None of these students had any prior experience with creating an on-line class, though some of them had used Moodle from the student perspective.

All the courses should be open for guest access at the moment, though they'll be closed once they start using them with students in the fall. There were 33 students in the course; about 30 of them decided to create Moodle courses for this project (the rest made webquests or Flash-based tutorials).

I've tried to select a variety of subjects and age levels.

Marjorie Hay's Shakespeare course (high school):

Robb Beane's Environmental Science course (high school):

Renee Urban's Reading Strategies course (first grade, or six years old for you non-USians):

Laura Gowler's genetics course (high school)

Kona Taylor's APA Style course (graduate school)

There are some other projects that I want to post, but I haven't heard back from all the students yet.

Most of them are planning to use these courses with their own students in the fall, so there may be the occasional "under construction" issue.
