Hi,

I've made some exercises in Hot Potatoes version 6 and that program generates some .htm files. If I want tt import them in the moodle platform, it asks me for .xml files. What am I doing wrong ?? Or which parameters do I have to change to import my HOTPOT exercises in the Moodle platform ?

Thx

Guy

Your "native Hotpotatoes" file (.jmx .jcl etc) are in xml format.  Choose or upload them.  You can (last time I checked) use the .htm files if you so desire.

A couple of options here:

  1. When you are adding a hot potatoes activity, you may use the choose or upload option, you will be taken to your site files where you may upload, then choose the file
  2. Upload the .htm to the files area of your course, then choose it when you go to add a hotpotatoes activity.

Guy, you may also find the section "TO USE THE HOTPOT MODULE" in the "mod/hotpot/README.TXT" file useful.
