Hello Lasse,
Thanks for your precious time and much appreciated help. The thing might be that I can't have access to a second database, for now anyway. So that might be it, but the documentation was not really clear about this. I have a huge website other than moodle, the database is also very big. Why do I need a second database? Why can't moodle use a shared database?
Modifications to config, permissions and rights are all OK. Paths are fine. The weird thing is that I also installed moodle in my localhost (for testing and skin design) and all works fine, and this is also a huge shared database. My server IS NOT Apache 2, since the only documentation I found that discuss the Apache issue refers to Apache 2.
I already posted a few times about it, with complete error message and all (you probably could do a simple search to find out).
I am very happy that you replied to my post.
You may visit the site at www.quiet-center.org/educ/ . If you need some access in administration to dig further (if you have the time and will, of course), that would be GREATLY appreciated. Because of that problem, I put aside my ambitions about an online Bible Study... and that saddens me.
I am trying to put a Bible Study online for our Church, in Foster, Québec, Canada, for our youth and shut-in elders. Nothing commercial... simply outreach.
