Backup Successful for one course but stops on Second Course

While trying to backup two different courses on my moodle site, the first one works OK but when I try to backup the second course it stops here:

  • Creating temporary structures
  • Deleting old data
  • Creating XML file
    • Writing header

    • Writing course data
    • Writing users info

I'm sorry about the incomplete posting.  I don't know how that happened.

Here is a description of my problem.

I was trying to backup two courses so I could import them to another moddle site I am running.  The first course backup worked OK, but this is the message I received several times when trying to backup the other course.  It stops at this point every time.

Moodle 1.5.3 (2005060231)
PHP Version 5.1.4

The backup was successful when I deselected Quiz.

Then I tried selecting only the Quiz to backup and it would not work.  It stopped just like it did previously.

Now what do I do to backup my quizzes so that I can import them into my 1.6 moodle?   I have a large number of questions that need to be imported along with the quizzes.
