I know this is really a problem with TeXaide, but before I tell my students it will not work I wondered if anyone had found a way around it. The problem is it insists on splitting the TeX into multiple lines, even when inline is turned on, so you can no longer use it to insert answers to short answer questions.
I noticed a link for a new translator in this discussion http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=22718#119404 but it seems you can no longer add translators since these files don't exist after installation. Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there anyway around it for students who don't want to learn either TeX or algebra syntax?
