Can someone explain the details of how teacher forums work? In particular I would like to know:
1) When adding new teachers, are they automatically subscribed to the teacher forum? If not, should this be changed?
2) What happens if I toggle the option to "Everyone is subscribed to this forum". Will posts then be mailed out to all the students as well or only to all the teachers?
3) How do groups affect the teacher forum and its mailings?
4) Unlike other forums that appear as course modules the teacher forum does not have an "Update this Forum" button. Is there some other way to change the settings?
