Question: is it in any way possible to have different deadlines for different groups for a single assignment?
The reason is that at our school, we are now taking Moodle to all subject areas. Each subject area will be expected to post assignments and homeworks - along with deadlines - so that students and parents can monitor when work should be handed in.
There is often the case that the same subject material will be covered by different groups at different times - hence the original question.
I realise that I could 'clone' the course for each group, but this is unwieldy and does not allow for evolution of the content of a course.
If anyone has a hack for this, i would be very interested as this is turning into a critical issue for us . I know that Tim T was discussing this around September 2004 - did you get any further?
